Hailey's essay on who has inspired me the most for he entry for the Miss VA princess program

Well Hailey and her dad have been working on this essay to enter and when I read it I wanted to cry my eyes out. I never realized that I inspired my daughter. She told me it wasnt finished and I am in shock that an 8 yr old wrote this with her daddy's help.


"The person who has inspired me the most would have to be my mom. My mom has been through so much over the past two years. I don’t know how she stays composed and does all she does for our family. My mother lost both of her parents to cancer within less than eleven months of each other. She held herself together so my brother and I didn’t see that she was falling apart. My mother has always told me that I can achieve anything and she will support me in everything I do. My mother never had the support and inspiration that I have with her. My mom has achieved so much. She went to school full time, worked full time, and was a full time mom and wife and graduated from college with honors. She is going for her bachelors now and I am being supportive of her. My mom inspires me to become whatever I want and shoot for my dreams. I told my grandma before she passed away that I wanted to be Miss America one day and my mom is supportive of that and I know that my mom’s inspiration and support will help me achieve that goal one day. No goal or dream is out of reach as my mom says. That is why my mother is my biggest inspiration."
